AI for Seniors (AI4S) helps older adults use AI with confidence in everyday life. We focus on practical tasks, staying in touch, managing health, using smart home tools, and staying safe online. We also equip educators, community groups, and young mentors with simple resources so learning is easy to run locally and sustain over time. The project operates in Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, and Spain and is co-funded by Erasmus+.

Many older adults feel unsure about digital tools. Without the right support, many miss the chance to use digital tools that could make everyday life easier, safer, and more connected.
AI4S offers clear, real-world learning. Short lessons, plain language, and step-by-step guides show how to use AI for health tracking, trusted communication, smart home basics, and safer browsing. We include straightforward advice on privacy, consent, and how to spot scams.
Learning happens locally. Community centres, libraries, and senior associations host small sessions and drop-ins. Resources are translated, accessible, and easy to print for low-tech settings. Youth mentors provide friendly, one-to-one support that reduces isolation and builds confidence.
This approach strengthens local communities. Seniors become more independent and stay connected with friends and family through safe, everyday digital use. Educators expand their reach to include older learners and build confidence teaching AI in inclusive settings. Together, this widens participation and delivers concrete results aligned with EU goals.

At AI4S, we support five key groups to promote digital inclusion and confident AI use across generations:
