Two-Factor Authentication is an extra layer of security that adds a second layer of identity verification. Instead of relying on just a password, 2FA requires you to confirm your identity using two distinct factors, like a password plus a code sent to your phone, to prove it’s really you. This reduces the risk of unauthorised access, even if a password is compromised.
